Thai Buddhist Temple Rubbing Dancing Aspara

A unique piece of vintage Asian artwork. Double framed, reverse matted. The exterior frame is a stretched fabric over a board. The interior frame is red and gold wood with glass over the dancing Aspara. This rubbing has been attributed to the ancient Siamese temple (founded circa 1688) Wat Pho. Temple rubbings were banned by the Thai government in 1965. This one is special. No flaws. Near Mint.
