This is a fascinating one of a kind piece, featuring the Ancient Persian Poet, Mathematician, and Astronomer appearing to be enjoying some quality time in the garden with his Lady Friend! The leather is stretched over a wooden frame and has a small assortment of minor dings, stains, spots and scuffs, also known as patina! There is some fading in Saqi's garb on the lower portion. However, the overall quality of this truly rare piece is outstanding. It's very old, certainly vintage if not quite antique, and unsigned. It would be a magnificent addition to anyone who collects the 'Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam' books or other old Persian artwork. Very good to excellent condition.
