Native American Indian on Wooden Horse Figurine

Circa 1960's, I can't find much information on this carved wooden horse with the plastic Native American. The detail on the leather saddle is nice. There is some distress on the saddle, on the flanks and legs of the horse, and it's ears are slightly chipped. The Brave looks to have 'counted coup' as he is a survivor with a few scrapes. This piece is rare and good looking. Very good condition.
