Maxfield Parrish - Collier's 1909 Framed & Matted Magazine Cover

This 'Fourth of July' cover from July 03, 1909 Collier's Magazine is by Maxfield Parrish, and although might not necessarily be 'rare', it might qualify for 'none nicer out there'! With the edges trimmed in gold paint, the wooden frame is fantastic and basically pristine with nary a trace of nicks or scuffs. This piece is reverse matted. The only flaw is at the bottom of the cover, where it is glued to a white matting, it was slightly mis-trimmed by about 1/32". This oversight is barely noticeable. Well over a century old, this one has survived the test of time. Even the back is in great shape with only one tiny hole in the paper at the top. The magazine cover itself looks to be arguably in mint condition. The overall piece is in Excellent condition plus.
